What happens
Captain Bradford, Jerry and the Gregory family are aboard a diesel cruiser about 50 miles from the Magic Island, heading north toward California after their escape. They are short of fuel and watch the water for a lighted buoy, a drum of oil that Johnson has promised to drop along his course. Mrs. Gregory and her daughter Joan wait in the radio cabin for word from Johnson, who is somewhere ahead of them. The crew recovers a drum from the water and begins to refuel the boat, but the group remains anxious about the Euclidean scientists who may still pursue them. The transcript ends before the story's later developments are shown.
