What happens
Cass Harrington and his younger brother Jerry, both naval officers, are in love with Irene Dale, and Jerry is determined to become a Navy flyer despite his brother's objections. In this Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of the Warner Brothers picture, first broadcast on October 7, 1940, George Brent, Olivia de Havilland and John Payne take the leading roles. The story opens at a memorial ceremony in Arlington Cemetery honoring the brothers' late father, Admiral William Harrington, and follows the rivalry between the brothers as Jerry enrolls at the Pensacola flight training school. The first part of the episode establishes their competing ambitions, Irene's place between them, and Jerry's early struggles as a student pilot.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
