What happens
On a quiet summer afternoon, a young girl named Alice wanders from her lessons into a garden and talks with her cat about a world where nothing is as it seems. Chasing a white rabbit through a small door, she finds herself in Wonderland, where she meets strange creatures and tries to make sense of her shifting size. This radio adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic, presented by Lux Radio Theatre on December 24, 1951, stars Kathy Beaumont as Alice, Edwin as the Mad Hatter, Jerry Colona as the March Hare and Sterling Holloway as the Cheshire Cat. The story follows Alice through the tea party and the Queen's croquet game.
A summer garden, then a fantastical Wonderland of tea parties and royal courts
Characters: Alice, Mad Hatter, March Hare, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts, Dormouse

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
