What happens

Jerry of the circus and his friend Spike are at the circus grounds after Spike rescues Jerry when a pony named Splinter bolts with him. Jerry explains that the saddle slipped, and Spike, who has just been hired to take over a job from Zeke, says he needs the work badly. Spike says he has urgent business to attend to in town and is anxious to see a man. At supper, the circus folk, including Bumps and Johnny, talk about life with the show. Jerry, meanwhile, recalls a wanted poster he saw at the post office, and says he thinks he knows the man pictured on it.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
