What happens
Danny Manson, a former dancer, hides in a shabby hotel with his wife Baby, afraid that the gangster Chigger will come to kill them both. Chigger eventually arrives, and Danny finds himself with a strange power that can bring death simply by his wishing it. Baby, Queenie, and a reporter all become entangled in his fear and his growing sense that he is not in control of what happens around him. Inner Sanctum Mysteries presents Night Is My Shroud, written by Milton Lewis, with Kenneth Lynch as Danny and Ann Shepard as Baby. The episode first aired on October 24, 1949.
