What happens

Britt Reid, publisher of the Daily Sentinel and secretly the Green Hornet, investigates Albert Patton, an international figure who serves no flag and seems to work for several sides at once. Reid's reporter Michael Axford tries to interview Patton at the Maximum Hotel, where Patton's secretary and a mysterious man named Weasel make deliveries of headache capsules. Federal investigator Martin is also watching the suite. Patton is suspected of dealing in secret plans, and Reid begins to piece together what the capsules may hold. This guide covers only the opening portion of the episode, which was broadcast on March 25, 1944, as part of The Green Hornet series.

A neutral capital and an American city, including the Daily Sentinel offices, Reid's apartment, and the Maximum Hotel.

Listen for: Watch how the headache capsules become a clue to Patton's dealings.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
