What happens
The Green Hornet and his valet Kato investigate a fatal roller coaster accident at the Devil's Dipper amusement park. Reporter Mike Reed of the Sentinel, with his secretary Kate, gathers statements from injured passengers and workers suggesting the ride was unsafe, while park owner Durkin and his associates try to silence the witnesses and suppress the story. The Green Hornet's pursuit draws him into the park's dangerous attractions, where a worker named Thomas is caught between the two sides. The first part of the episode is spent establishing the rival parties, the threats against witnesses and the mounting pressure on the Sentinel's story. The Green Hornet's first appearance is part of the same investigation.
