What happens
In the Honduran banana port of Taylor, Owen Rowan is a gambler who keeps losing money at Chatham's casino and borrowing from his employer, Captain Markham. Rowan's acquaintance Mr. Willis advises him to avoid Selena, a woman rumored to practice voodoo. Rowan meets Betty Hardin, a visitor from the States, and begins a relationship with her while Selena grows jealous and resentful. Rowan becomes convinced that a curse has made him unable to lose, and he begins gambling heavily again, which Betty opposes.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
