What happens

Escape presents Seven Hours to Freedom, written by Bud A. Nelson. Two fishermen, Jeff and Lou, are mackerel fishing off the Southern California coast at night when they rescue two men from a rowboat. One of them, Burke, is an armed escaped convict who forces the crew to sail toward Mexico. Burke has a loaded pistol and a dead man is aboard. The fishermen must find a way to deal with their captors as the boat heads south, and the crew begins to plot against him. Jack Moyle stars as Jeff. The episode is part of the Escape series.

Characters: Jeff, Lou, Burke, Ellis, Stacy

Listen for: Burke's threats with the pistol and the crew's plan to get the gun back

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
